Installation for Supported Operating Systems

For installation instructions and notes, select your operating system from the list below. Be sure to review the instructions that are included for your OS to ensure a successful installation.

Windows XP, 2000, NT, 98, 95

  • Download the appropriate installation file for your system configuration. For additional information on selecting an appropriate runtime, see our Java Runtimes page.
  • Launch the self-extracting installer.
  • During installation, you are presented with a Java runtime selection dialog. If bundled with the installation, select the default included runtime. A local copy of this runtime will be placed under the application directory. This will not effect any other installed Java application or Java development.
  • Alternatively, you may select a previously installed runtime. Check the Java Runtimes page for compatibility information
Important Note
  • To avoid installation problems, we highly recommend downloading the ObjectDomain installer with the runtime included.

Mac OS X
