Extending ObjectDomain

ObjectDomain is open architected to allow the development of extensions and add-ins to customize the product to meet your unique modeling requirements. The open API provides full access to the meta-model and the application framework.

Integrated Scripting Support

ObjectDomain uses Python as an integrated scripting language. This elegant, object-oriented language allows users to directly access and manipulate virtually any aspect of the ObjectDomain application framework or user model. This allows rapid development of product extensions ranging from custom code and report generation, to interface enhancement, to third party add-ins.

To further accelerate extension development, ObjectDomain offers an integrated scripting console that provides quick and convenient access to the scripting, application, and model environments. This allows developers to easily and experimentally interact with the application, accelerating learning as well as the implementation and testing of extensions.
